  Sounds like the data-link or ICU. Will require a few tests to determine. Basically means there is a computer communication issue.

  If the data-link is ok then a few more steps have to be done. At that point a few more steps need to be done but im not really sure,

  Best bet is to take it to the dealership, not a fleet, fleets suck

  Can’t quite remember for sure but i think the later two deal with the coolant level and high temp. ave you checked the radiator level , if it gets down to the sensor plug on the reservoir it will start but keep shutting the motor down. Try unplugging the sensor that goes onto the fill tank , and then start and see if it shuts down. If it does not then you just need to put some coolant back in it.You can run down the road with the sensor disconnected if you need to get to coolant just keep an eye on your temp. The codes could all be new or old as they are stored until hooked up to the computer and removed. Are you getting the codes by doing the diagnostic with the key ? Also freightliner has a 1800-freightliner help # that is free. If you can find a owners manual in your truck it has the number and they will tell you the codes.I believe the 128 is a injector control code.

  23 is fuel temp sensor input high– This is the sender unit going to the secondary fuel filter..check the wiring.

  thanks for your help we have a new sensor on coolant but aparently it is bad i bypassed it this am and away we go thank you again and happy new year

  Yep second guys on tha money 128 ur inject an other two are sensors fuel temp an some other to find out what inject it is first check the accuater harness then if it continues hook it up to a computer listen to it , then shut um off one by one till it sounds like it did before u started the test when u hear that uve found ur bad injectors
