Is anyone using the nike dymo or R9 drivers with the wrench shafts?

Is anyone using the nike dymo or R9 drivers with the wrench shafts?

The reason i ask is because it seems like this new lie adjusting gimmick is just a rip off..I mean you can only make this adjustment between rounds. And really you don’t need a wrench to open or close the face(Do you??) Anyways anyone who has the drivers tell me if you like it or not.

I don’t have it but I agree with you on the rip off part. First, most amateurs cannot take advantage of this. If you gave me a club that I could adjust between ever shot I would have no clue what to do with it. This is clearly for very low handicappers. Most people are just wasting money on something like this.

It doesn’t just change the face open or closed. It also changes the lie and the loft as well. The problem with the average golfer thinking these clubs are going to solve their problems is that the adjustments are based on hitting the sweet spot 99% of the time. If you regularly miss it, then these adjustments dont matter. A driver face is not flat so depending on where you are impacting the ball, you are already throwing in a huge variable as to open/closed, and effective loft that would counter any adjustment you might make.
