is it okay to enlarge a barcode?
if its enlarged or shrunken to a size different from the original, will the barcode be able to be read?

i know this is a stupid question

Best answer:

    Yes.

An enlarged barcode would read no differently than a smaller copy scanned at a closer distance.

Barcodes have been used on everything from freight trains to individual bees. I’d expect that you’re intended use is somewhere within that range in size.
