Is it possible when i’m punching my secret bank numbers on my house phone{wireless} some one within range?
could pick them up on a scanner?then record ‘em and play them into banks till they get right bank???

it would be way too much trouble. the old home wireless you could prgram in your scanner and listen to your neighbors when they used their cordless phone at 46 MHZ.but the last 10 years or so they have been moved way up to 5Ghz where a common scanner wont work

Short answer – yes. Ditto using a wifi connected PC to do your banking.
Cell phones use various methods to interfere with snooping, but standard wireless phones are more limited.
