is my olympus xd memory card compatible with a hp color laser jet 2840?
I am having some trouble uploading images from my camera. I own an olympus fe-270 and have misplaced my cable so I am trying to upload off the memory card. The scanner that I am trying to use is a HP color laser jet 2840 but I cannot seem to work out where to insert my memory card. I normally use an AMICROE SD memory card but the slot for this is too wide for my Olympus memory card.

XD is common among Asian breeds of cameras, and is a tad bit wider than the SD cards.
A card specific slot must be available, because they will not accept any others.
So, your printer must have the XD reader in order to ‘plug’ the card in.

Added: I see my Kodak has a combo slot for both SD & XD, in one.

You’ll just have to check the unit and see if it has this dual card slot.
