Is printer ink from a heat transfer paper toxic to dogs?

Is printer ink from a heat transfer paper toxic to dogs?

I want to start out by saying that I’ve contacted the Emergency vet and was advised to contact Animal poison control who wants for a consultation. So, before I do that, I wanted to get input from you all.

I have a 14 month, 13lb Boston Terrier. While out of the room, he was able to get, and eat a small amount of heat transfer stuff that I had pulled off a garmet. So, it’s not the actual paper, but the transfer stuff that has printer ink on it.

Does anyone know of this is toxic?
It’s just regular ink from a Dell 922 ink jet printer. I just got new printer cartridges, and there is no paper work in the boxes for any kind of warnings.

Does the ink have any chemical ingredients listed on it?
Is it the regular ink or the rubber kind?

I will start off by saying I am not 100 percent sure however my Bostons have gotten into all kinds of things that they should not have including eating plastic backing from some of my work equipment that is poisonous and they were just fine. It was such a small amount that they did not even get sick. I also one time only by mistake dropped a pill for my 100 pound German Shepherd and my Boston 25 pounds ate in a second. I of course called the vet immediately and he said she would be fine. Again she never even got sick. I would not worry to much yet. I would just watch and monitor him very closely over the next 24 hours.
