It’s not the best for your eyes, kinda like staring at a bright light.
It’s not immediately harmful, but don’t make a habit of it.

obviously any type of ‘lazer’ affects the eye in some degree if you take a direct hit.
its better to just avoid it…its better to be safe than sorry!

Computer technician here…..Yes, they are bad for your eyes. The reason is, is that doctors say that the laser beams could either temporarily blind you or blind you for good depending how strong the laser beam is. Laser beams is found in many electronic equipments. It is also found in CT (or known as Cat scans) scanners in hospitals and you will notice the warning labels slapped near where laser beams are exposed, not to look directly at the laser beams. Doctors can actually tell you of what kind of adverse effects that laser beams can do to your eyes depending on their strength. Hope this helps.
