Is there a decent barcode reader/scanner for the Blackberry that will compare prices of the product in stores?

Is there a decent barcode reader/scanner for the Blackberry that will compare prices of the product in stores?
I know the iPhone has a few apps like this, because I have a friend who has the app. Also, the Droid has a similar app (again, a friend has it. Works like a dream on his phone!).

You would think with the Blackberry being older than either of these, and still putting out new models that remain popular, there would be an app for Blackberry users, but I have yet to find one.

I have tried Edocrab and ScanLife, both of which worked on my Tour, but they did not compare the price for local stores, only on the internet. I have searched Blackberry AppWorld and have been trying to search the internet, but maybe I’m missing a keyword somewhere…

Thanks in advance!
I don’t know why it works, only that the ones on my friends’ Droid and iPhone do.

Their phones can take a picture of a barcode and the app will do a price comparison for local stores. I don’t need to know how it works, just need to find a version of it that works with my Blackberry.

Best answer:

I don’t see how this would help you as the barcode scanners in stores are linked to a price database exclusive either to the store or to the chain of stores. As you have no access to the store’s database, you could not possibly get the price in the individual store you happen to be in.
