is there a multi-function printer that will allow me to fax without a telephone line?
is there a multi-function printer that will allow me to fax without a telephone line?
I have a laptop with a wireless card for the internet and was interested in getting a printer/copier/scanner/fax…but without a traditional land-line I don’t know if it’s possible. My laptop has a 56k ITU V.92 fax/modem, but I’m not that technical so I don’t know how it relates.
Best answer:
yes, it works on tele-kinesis….mind-reading…

You can purchase the fax machine, but to send a fax without using a phone line, you would need to send via email, program is called RightFax.

I never heard of any physical unit (printer/copier/scanner/fax) that can send fax without a telephone line. That’s just impossible. Your best bet is to use a fax software. As far as I know, and I’ve tried sending fax via my broadband, it can’t go through. I was only able to fax with a land-line.
