is there a php script to allow clients to use tracking numbers to asset data?
i am a computer technician and i want to give my customers tracking numbers so they can track the status of there computer into repairs. like give them the number and they enter it into the website and it pulls info from a database i guess saying wateva i want it to say example…this computer is pending repair things like that
Does a script exist is this even possible??? and whats the correct name for something like this?
P.S it doesnt have to be a PHP script

Is it possible? Sure. Does one exist that you can just drop in and use? I’d sooner expect to find the winning Powerball ticket in a parking lot. But if you learn programming and enough to write a PHP program to access a database (which you’ll have to design) and the web p0ages for the front end, you could write a system like that in a few weeks. Or hire someone to if you’d rather spend money than effort.
