Is there a virus that makes your cursor change?

A few days ago two almost barcode looking things appeared behind my cursor. One is blue and one is green. At first it was showing all the time, like I had changed my cursor to an icon or something. I’ve been running virus scans and now it only shows when the computer is thinking. It’s almost like it wants me to think it isn’t there anymore. Is this a virus? How do I get rid of it if McAfee doesn’t catch it?
I just ran a scan with Avira and it didn’t find anything. Should I download another program and try scanning with that?

    if mcafee doesn’t catch it, use another free antivirus like avira, avg, avast, comodo, rising or pc tools. I have mcafee but i still don’t use it for this exact reason — it fails to detect viruses.

You know when you download stuff from the net sometimes there is that little tiny box with the checkmark to install something is already checked and you don’t see it.
