Is there an efficient way to remove tamper evident Stickers?

I accidently put the wrong numbered asset tags on 3 computers and need to remove them. FYI: a tamper evident tag means that when you goto peel it up it leaves behind little shiny squares to show someone tampered with it.

you could try a blowdryer or heatgun if you have one. but i’m betting they thought of that.

You want to remove the glue? I use a paper towel with peanut butter and rub the glued area with the peanut butter until it comes off on paper towel. Then clean area with a mild soap and water on a cloth and dry.

i’m not sure. those things are quite delicate.

try using a needle, remove it millimeter by millimeter.

make sure you don’t let the back side of the sticker peel off or it would obviously look like it was tampered.
