Luggage identification tags?
When you get your luggage identification tag, it has a barcode & numbers on it. When people scan it or look it up AFTER your flight & after you’ve left the airport, does it show the weight of your luggage? Specifically, I’d like to know if Air Canada & Cathay Pacific have this info. Please be very sure in your answer. Thanks.
I also want to ask if they keep photos of your luggage. Reason: I wanna report broken luggage but it actually occured on my flight TO and not my return flight.

No it does not record the weight of your baggage. Generally the tag will be readable only by the airline that issues it, and would tell them what flight it should loaded on.
Edit:
No they do not take photos of luggage, and if it was damaged you should have filed a report at the airport, so that a representative could physically see the damage before you left the airport.

This barcode system is a standard routing tag. It only contains information relevant to routing your bags. It contains no details about the size, weight or description of the bags. Just where it came from, where it needs to end up, any connections, and the flight numbers.
