What are they for? Where can I get information on them and get the catalog?

They used to have Marlboro miles on them, but they stopped that a few years ago, I’m not aware of any other promotions with the bar codes anymore.

I remember a long time ago, Marlboro had a catalog called Marlboro Miles.
You could redeem proof of purchase = bar codes for jackets, etc, mostly sporting type gear , with the Marlboro logo
