Microsoft Access Barcodes?
Microsoft Access Barcodes?
I’m currently in charge of inventory for machines through the tech department at a school, and decided to create an Access database with all the machine information and assigned each machine an ID number for easy reference, but was interested in possibly putting barcodes on the machines for even faster reference. My question is, how are barcodes created in Access? If I have pre-existing barcodes and scan them into Access, is there a way for it to remember them? How does the whole barcode to program connection work?
Best answer:
I created a database for my former employer to track technology assets. I had looked into barcoding and found you need to get a third party add-on for this. We ended up just tracking them by asset ID so I can’t give you any input on these products. But if you go to Access help and search on barcode the results will show some products that do this.
