My Textbook has been stolen.?
My Textbook has been stolen.?
This is what happened. After Lunch at my school there are 2 periods. My First one is Construction, followed by Social. It is reccomended by the school that you take everything that you need for both periods at lunchtime, because there is only 3 minutes between the last two periods. When you first go in to the construction room, you put all your stuff on the table and go about the room doing your projects. Some lazy dumb people stay at the table and sit down and chat, (the ones who fail). Last Thursday I came in the construction room, and put my stuff on the table and then when away to do my stuff and noticed a guy named tyler screwing around with my textbook. At the end of the period I went to go get my stuff and my binder was there, but my text was gone. Everybody left, and when I first saw the binder I didnt panic, I just thought it slipped under the table, but when itt wasnt anywhere in sight, I went into panic. I asked the construction teacher what to do and he said he didnt take it so I went to Social and after School me and my dad reported it to the office. I had a Social test 2 days from then and when my mom called the school when me and my dad got home from telling the office my social teacher said over the phone that she would arrange a new one with Mrs.Enokson at the library. The social teacher then forwarded the call to The Lady in charge of rentals-NOT the librarian mrs enokson, and the lady told my mom I had to go first thing in the morning to the rental lady. I forgot. the next day I was called to the office and they told me to go to the lady in charge of the rentals and she was a little pissed I didnt come and told me to go to the librarian Mrs. Enokson for a textbook and she did. She then replaced the data on her computer so that it showed the new textbook was my current one that I am using. The Next construction class When I came with the new textbook, Tyler was shocked to see a new textbook, but soon realized that if he didnt fake not being shocked I would have proof. When I asked him if he took it he denied it but I could tell he was lying. Today when I went to the library I tried to check out a book but the librarian said that I cant check anything out because I owed 80$ to the library because of the stolen text so now either I pay the fine or I manage to recover the textbook. What should I do???
(I am in Grade 8)
Also Halfway through the year,They check your barcode and make sure everyone has the right textbook so my new one will match up, but if tyler stole the text for his own usage then his will be the wrong code.

Never fret about a stolen text book. Especially since you know the text book is stolen. Ask all of your friends/the people sitting next to you if they’ve seen a textbook lying around. Then, tell all of your teachers that you’ve lost a text book and they will help look for it as well. Next what you should do is go to the lost and found. It will most likely be there if you’ve miss placed it at school. If you still cannot find it after a week or so, tell your teacher to borrow another copy. At the end of the year, the person who stole your text book will have to check it back in, and the librarians will know that it is your book, and you will be free of any fines.
