My xbox 360 has 2 different serial numbers on the front and back.?

The serial numbers on the back above barcode and where the controller plugs in are different. It’s never been sent in for repairs. Any ideas why this might be or do others have this aswell? I ask because mine recently got the red lights of doom and i wanna send it in but they might say i have 2 different serial numbers.

    That is definitely odd. By all rights the numbers inside the controller port on the sticker SHOULD match the serial number on the back. Personally, I’d just give the serial number on the back, and not mention the front one since most people would not even know to look there. Best of luck to you!

    I have the same exact problem with my xbox, except when I first got it and when to log into XBL it said i was banned..lol
