I have an Xbox 360 that I bought off of a friend who got it god knows where. Either way it got the red ring of death and it has been registered already. Can i switch the back barcode of an Xbox that has a warranty onto mine and send it in? would that work?

nope. like a in a car the serial wud be on the inside somewhere. if they notice that the numbers are different. they’ll void your warranty for tampering.

your best bet is to research someone who can fix it. THe barcode is not only printed behind the console but the serial numeber is printed by the usb ports and on the motherboard. They also run your barcode number to find what the serial number is
