Nokia does not require 20-digit code verification anymore for their new battery??

I bought Nokia 1208 (T-Mobile To Go) from Target, and I found that the battery is BL-5CA.

It has all of the characteristics of an original battery (ink is sharp, clear, instruction on the back is in 2 languages, hologram verification ok – can only see dots on one side at time, hands are moving when it’s seen from different angle, barcode are complex).

HOWEVER, it doesn’t have ther 20-digit code on the hologram.

I checked on 3 Nokia websites (europe, US, and Asia) for battery check, they dont have the link to verify the 20-digit code anymore!! (they only provide information in how to verify the hologram).

So, does it mean that Nokia doesn’t require or provide 20-digit code verification for their new batteries?

I’m so confused.
