Pioneer HTS-GS1 Compatibility?

I know people will think I’m stupid for asking this but can the Pioneer HTS-GS1 which is supposed to be X-Box 360 be also hooked up to the Playstation 3? I originally used the surround sound and connected it to an upconvert-DVD player I had and it worked fine. It was connected by analog wires. Is it possible for the PS3 to work with it?
If it can’t be connected to the PS3, is there a way to connect it to my plasma TV so the game can be heard through the surround sound?
