Planning to get a barcode tattoo. What numbers should I use?
Planning to get a barcode tattoo. What numbers should I use?
I’ve already thought of my birthday, but I think anyone would do that. I also thought of my student ID number, and my driver’s license numbers…
So what other options are there?
Also, what are more places for it to be? I’ve thought about my wrist, the palm of my hand, the back of my neck, the side of my thigh, on my lower back, and on the side of my waist.
So I’m also wondering, which of these will be less, and most painful? And which will be best for placement?
Extra details: I’m a girl, 18, my name is Phoenix, this will be my first tattoo, and my best friend is also getting one, but his numbers are decided. It’s a page number, and his favorite Bible verse, even though he’s not an extreme Christian, lol.

Back of your neck would be cute, but I’d reccommend getting this as a henna tattoo. Lots of people have this and I get what they’re trying to say about our world, but it’s just not very original. Think of something more creative. If you do end up getting this, don’t use any numbers that identify yourself (DL, SSN, etc.).

i wouldn’t use any personal numbers. but that is just me. u could go with your social. i mean your student number is going to change or maybe you wont be a student for ever. maybe a scripture citation. i’ve got a wrist tattoo and it wasn’t bad at all. be careful with the palm bc it will be seen forever all the time. you don’t want to get judged in an interview bc of it. i like the wrist and neck. if you put it on the thigh or lower back it would need to be pretty big. plus those areas are large canvas so u can use them for other larger tattoos in the future.

Maybe your area code number? Or the area code of your hometown?
Maybe some type of phone number, but you might not wanna do your current one!
PART of your social security. dont do the whole thing. haha.
Bible verses. (which it your friend did)
something that has to do with a loved one, like family. (their bday years or something.)
And idk what else. haha.
I wouldnt do my palm. I suggest back of the neck or underside of your wrist. you could also try your ankle or behind your ear.

why not get the barcode of your favorite thing. every product has a barcode on it so use those number. i think that would be a very different idea. so when people asked where you got the numbers from you can say its from your favorite brand or a brand of someone you know like your mom or family member that way you have a story and memory behind it. for example if you absolutely loved a perfume you can get the barcode off of it, that way when people ask. idk just my idea. and i think getting it on the inside of your wrist would be a good place. :)

take your name and write out the numerical numbers for the letters. like a=1 b=2 c=3… and so on. It could be your first name, whole name, or nickname :D

I am not sure if you knew this but you don’t have to limit yourself to numbers!!!
You can barcode absolutely anything, letters, special characters, spaces, and numbers!
On the Simply Barcodes website, we have a free tool that allows you to test out what a given text would look like as a barcode. You can create a barcode for your name or any other word and then download that barcode image.

Once you have the image downloaded, you can probably take it to your artist to have the tattoo made from it.
