police scanners question??
are there police/fire scanners that you can plug a Handheld Clip-on Speaker/Microphone into? Which ones can you plug that in to? where can i buy it

Most of the handhelp ones will have an earphone/headphone port in them. You would not want a mircrophone to hear out of. The common brands that I am familiar with are bearcat and Uniden. You can get bearcat handhelds at all off our local Walmarts not sure about your areas. Also you may want to check your local laws on police scanners.

Most scanners have a port for an earpiece or an external microphone. If you are talking about a clip on lapel microphone (I doubt it would work) and why would you want one anyway?
I would look at radio shack-they have a lot of cool accesories. You may also try the company that manufactured the scanner (I’m sure they have accesories also)
Yes and like the other guy said-make sure you check your local laws about scanners.
