Problem with USB connection between Symbol MC9090G and Host running Windows 2000?
Problem with USB connection between Symbol MC9090G and Host running Windows 2000?
I have an issue with the USB communication between a Symbol MC9090-G and a host running Windows 2000. I have installed in the computer Microsoft Active Sync 4.5, MCL-LINK version 3 and MCL Designer 3.16. I have tested the USB Connection with the Test option that appears in MCL start menu but it says that there is an error communicaton.
The thing is I have tried the same connection in my laptop which is running Windows XP and it works perfectly. I am sure that the MCL-LINK set up is exactly the same in both computers!
Please, could you help me to sort this problem out?
I have been reviewing the manuals, and I would say USB connection is compatible with Windows 2000, isn’t it?
I am really looking forward for your help.
Thank you very much.

Is the USB port 1.1 or 2.0?
Newer hardware will require USB 2.0.
