question regarding image creation with Acronis?

I have a question regarding creating image with Acronis disk image. When we make image with this software so what exactly does it make. Would it make image for all the softares too. I want to save my MS office software and Labelview software beacause i dont have its setup disk any more. AFter creating image do i still need to install windows in new hard drive or it will only save documents .

    If you use Acronis to clone your hard drive it will be a direct image of what you have now.
    It will have all your programs data and documents as licenses intact.

    It depends on what type of image you are creating. I will be assuming that you will be creating a image of your entire hard drive, so this is what it does:

    A disc image is an exact copy of everything that was on the selected hard drive. It is a simple backup.
    If you decide that you want to reformat your computer for whatever reason, you can use the backup that you made to recover files and folders that you want.

    For the second part of the your question, you will need the setup discs in order to reinstall Microsoft Office and Labelview Software. Simply copying the Microsoft Office or LabelView folder into your new installation may not work.
