RadioShack PRO-135 Handheld Scanner?
I currently own a RadioShack Pro-135 scanner im trying to listen to my local police Dpt. but I try to put in the Freq. and i dont hear anything please help me!! I know nothing about theses things. i am using radioreference.com/apps/db/?i… to get my Freq. but i cant find the city of Greenfield so the next closest is Greendale. when i put the Freq. in i dont hear anything and on that website it says The Police and Fire Departments use the Milwaukee County 800 MHz TRS. i dont know what that means.

It is very probable that those 800 Mhz systems are Trunking, You wil need a Triple Trunking Scanner to decode it.
