re-using an ebay shipping box?

i bought something on ebay, and the girl shipped it to me in an ebay shipping box. there’s a barcode on the bottom and underneath it says “EBAY BOX 7″. so now i’ve just sold something on ebay and it fits the box perfectly. i don’t know if i can re-use that box, though. it’s a USPS priority mail box, and i’m definitely sending it priority mail. does anyone know if this is somehow illegal or something? lol

    Black out the bar code.

You can reuse a priority mail box to send other priority mail. The reuse of priority mail boxes is restricted however, because the box is given away for free by the post office, with the understanding that you are only allowed to use it for priority mail. And if it is reused, it can only be reused for priority mail.

Other boxes, which were not obtained for free from the post office, can be reused for any class of mail.

Always black out any bar codes on any box. And any old addresses. Or you risk your box being mis-delivered.
