should I use bar-coded or RF ID labels to receive, move, pick large furniture products with a forklift?

We have an opportunity to put both RFID’ed and barcoded labels on our large furniture products. Is it worthwhile to buy RFID readers when we already have barcode readers?
Best answer:
Nope, I think barcode readers are more effective. I used RF ID readers at work and we switched back to barcode readers.

rfid is still in its infancy in terms of integration and reliability. big vendors and dod are requiring it but there is not enough reliable and affordable systems.
