Stolen Ipod Nano Second Generation hELp!!!?

When i moved from Michigan to Nebraska i had my ipod with me and we had to stay as guests at my “cousins” house. We only stayed about a day and i had my ipod in my purse the whole time when i would take it out i’d see that my “cousin” noor would show great intrest in it EVEN though its was hot pink and hes a boy so anyway we got are own place the next day and he started to spend the night for about a week. I was takeing a shower and left it on the sink counter and went in my room to dress and by the time i was done i saw him walk out the bathroom and run outside with somthing hot pink grasped in his hand i went to see if it was in the bathroom and chased after him then i saw him and his dad drive off. I was PISSED

i called they didnt answer i went to there house they denyed it i called the police and gave him my barcode and its discription and proof it was mine he searched and did not find it,everyone seen him with it

what should i do!!!
