tattoos—thermal transfer paper or hectograph paper?
tattoos—thermal transfer paper or hectograph paper?
my husband is starting to tattoo..and we want to be able to make actual tattoo designs instead of dots and hearts and stars.
we need some transfer paper, and i have read about the thermal paper,,,and i have read about the hectograph,,paper and pen..
but i dont have a dot matrix printer or a thermofax…
which one of these transfer papers do we use to just freehand a design (im an artist) and apply it to the skin?
do i need the hectograph pencil?
can either of the papers be put into an hp laser printer to print the design onto it?
or do i just need to freehand?
and before i get any of you not giving me a real answer talking about he needs to get an apprenticeship or he’s gonna be unclean or unsanitized…we have a sterile work environment,…he takes this very seriously, and the tattoos/gun will only be used on me and him..
so no responses talking about we need to take classes and whatnot..i just need to know which paper to get and how to use it.
.thank you

Professionals use carbon paper. It’s the easiest. Of course you can always free hand… Well, what we would do is draw the design, run it through the copier, and then ran it through the thermofax… Since you don’t have one, I’m not sure what makeshift thing to use, sorry.
hope you get your answer.
