TURING PROGRAMMING HELP, PLEAASE!?

I need a program for school, that reads a barcode and outputs a receipt. I am in the beginning stages and I am kinda lost. I have this:

label 55544:cost:= 150.00
end case

^I realize I still have far too go, but I need to complete the trchnical aspects first. When I do this, I get a warning that the range of cases is too high and it shuts down without saving. Why?
Could someone help me and possibly give me a contact email, where I could ask them questions? Deepy appreciated!
How would I change it to a decimal value?
