URGENT POST OFFICE HELP?
URGENT POST OFFICE HELP?
I’ve been screwed around by o2 and therefore I’ve had enough so I returned the mobile phone this afternoon to the post office before their last collection at five o clock – I wanted to send the phone via special delivery but couldnt do that as o2 had only given me a sticker which said its contract number with the post office and a bar code? please please tell me as the guy at the post office took it off me and said he could post it that the sorting office will scan that barcode and the phone will be sent to the return address.
He seemed to think that the post office had individual contracts with companys with regards to returns so therefore that contract number would be unique to o2 i just want to make doubly doubly sure as o2 have really pissed me off this time and have normally been so good!!! just let me know that the post office can scan that bar code and get up o2′s address otherwise its time to ring the sorting office to find my parcel! thanks sensible answers only its really ruined my week

is your question: will the post office send it on time?
or is it, do they have contracts with companies and they (the post office) messes up postals so that it can benefit the company?
to both these answers, the only thing that occurs to me is something that I was told about credit cards. I know you dont have a credit card..that you issue is another but maybe this can help abit..
when you make a payment to the credit cards by mail, they have long numbers (i guess when you send, the postal number ..well some number that they used to when you send it to them)…because these numbers are long, it may take a longer time for them to received your payment, then they charge you a fee for it.
Now, I dont know if the postal office helps them with that, but maybe the company that you are shipping to, does this.
basically, they end up saying that they did not received it on time because it takes longer than usual
