Weight loss advice, please?

I realize this is a bit long, but bare with me! :D

Okay, first, a little bit about my situation…
I’m 15 years old, 5′ 6″, and currently weigh about 149 pounds. That sounds bad, I know, but I play competitive tennis on the varsity team at my high school, which means I have my fair share of muscle mass, haha.
I’m currently taking a film acting course – at the end of which, professional head shots are taken and I become represented by an agent. I’m very serious about this and it’s something I hope to do for the rest of my life(:

Now, back to my weight. My teacher says I need to lose weight, obviously. He’s aiming for me to weigh about 120 pounds. I realize this is a bit unrealistic, but what they say about a camera is true – they really DO add ten pounds, trust me!

I have about 20 weeks to lose twenty pounds. I’m starting a “barcode-free” diet tomorrow – less processed foods, more fruits and veggies. I work out regularly (cardio and strength), but I’m getting bored seeing the same old moves in magazines and stuff.

All I’m asking for is some advice to make this experience easier and less stressful. I’ll admit it, I’m EXTREMELY prone to cheatting, but I can’t! Any advice is accepted, considering I’m a teen and have no idea what I’m getting myself into!

Thank you in advance! :D

Since you seem to be in good shape, I suggest you challenge yourself with a full body cardio workout. I have recently started Shaun T’s Insanity DVD and have had great results. In less than a month I have lost 15 lbs. It also comes with a diet plan that you can stick to. I would highly recommend trying this but it is extremely tough. If your interested you can go to: beachbodycoach.com/topbody. Also, there are all natural weight loss supplements there to help with speeding up metabolism.

    Hi,

Here’s the thing, It seems like you already know that diet is important for weight loss. About the cravings, indulge once in a while. Studies conducted by the University of Britain shows that women who resist against their cravings for sweets will eat 3 times more calories in “replacement foods” than just giving into the craving.

What is super important to know is that you must do this in moderation. Instead of eating the whole chocolate bar, have a small piece, nibble on it, until you feel satisfied.
