What free music software is good for making rap beats and recording rap songs? How can i start my own record label? How can i make album covers or is there a place were someone makes album covers? i want to make my own independent record label and sell cd’s of me and my group out the trunk of my car. can i put my cd’s in record stores? Can i put my cd’s in liqour stores? How can i start my own record label?

try audacity.. its really complicated at first.. and i would suggest asking the owner to give them away free at like karoka night or something

To start your own label you need to get a business licenses. you can get a business lic at your city hall. CD cover designs I do them. http://www.myspace.com/cllewisenterprises or you can type graphic design or CD cover designs in a search. and its nothing to get Cd’s in the store. Just take like 5 or 6 and ask whats the policy on selling your CD. Buy a music business book and it will tell you just about everything.
