What is a fast way to put labels on DVDs? I’m told thermal printing takes about 10 minutes for one: UGH! – ?

And is the thermal etching of the disk coating, or does it use “hot” ink cartridges?
Labels seem cumbersome and expensive.
What do you think?
Thanks! Ben
Additional Details:
I’m asking about low runs, not commercial printing. Just making disks for our church projects, maybe ten at a time for each disk.

Yeah, etching and thermal printing is ridiculously slow. Just buy some Avery CD/DVD inkjet labels. You can get 40 for less than $10 – if you shop around you can get 40 for about $5. Most word processing apps already have the built-in template for them – so just add the text or graphics you want and print as many as you want – quickly.
Of course then you’ve gotta stick each one on the disk, but that’s no big deal. They look really good.
They’re Avery #8692. Here’s a link:

Good luck,
