What is a good corporate IT asset tracking solution that will auto-discover info on PC’s for a small company?
Something that will generate reports of OS, serial number, hardware configuration, installed software and license info for all PCs on a lan remotely. We will have something like 300 pc’s to track. The lower the cost the better.

Track-it! I am currently running Version 8 and I have been using it since Version 3. Aside from tracking your assets, there are several other modules: Help Desk (for tracking issues) Purchasing, Training, and more.
