What is a good, simple point of sale software?
I’m starting up a small business; I will be making sales over the phone of a single product. And, I need a very basic point of sale system. Essentially I need the program to do a few things:
Process credit cards, take down customer information (i.e. name, billing/shipping address), account for taxes, and print invoices (maybe also print labels).
Obviously, if there is a free program that does this, it would be great, but otherwise I’m willing to consider any suggestions.

The quickbooks should be better for you if your business is small. There are so many other out there.

Dale Harris POS software, it is free, it is simple, it is networkable, and it is great.
It should be exactly what you need. You can process the credit cards in a seperate terminal.
