In Retail Context: Stock Code = Stock Keeping Unit = UPC Code (the numbers the bar code represent)
OR
In Stock market context: Stock Code = Ticker Symbol = 3 or 4 alpha characters that represent the company’s name

    Stock code as in investment stocks code? That would be the ticker, or an abbreviation for the company shares, this serves as a code for the share.

    I think a stock code in your case is probably referring to the retail industry where the barcode is a sticker with bar lines on it for identifying the name and price of the selling product and the price to be paid by the customer is appeared on the check out line in the store. A stock code probably means the stored items keep inside the warehouse or shelves. If you were asking about the stock code in the financial industry, it will have a quite complicated interpreting process.
