  The Opticons and Decepticons are the 2 groups of transformers

  Decepticons = bad guys
  Opticons – Good guys

  You should be looking for HASBRO instead, they’re the maker for transformers. I think the word you are referring to is OPTIMUS PRIME, leader of the Autobots(good guys)

  Wow. Yes, the good autobots from Transformers are called the Opticons. There’s also a song called Opticon, by a band called Orgy. I found this post while trying to find the definition myself, I checked on Dictionary.com and found nothing, so I went to Google and typed define: Opticon. The best answers I got were a deleted Wikipedia page that apparently said something about “The Opticon is an online repository of free legal forms and legal reference materials launched by the talk radio host Steven Rinehart to assist tenants, business owners, inmates, indigent claimants and others representing themselves pro se.”, another Wikipedia page that Google was redirected to from the Opticon page that Wikipedia has (which literally only has a link to the other article) which said “Traffic signal preemption is a type of system that allows the normal operation of traffic lights to be preempted, often to assist emergency vehicles.”, and something about typfaces. http://www.google.ca/search?hl=en&source=hp&q=define%3A+opticon&aq=f&aqi=g1&aql=&oq= is where I found those. Urban Dictionary, sadly, seems to have the most relevant definition; “Intentional misrepresentation designed to fool an observer.” http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=opticon
