What is that box/bar code-looking thing that you can take a picture of with your phone and it opens stuff?
You can find it on a lot of products (especially technology) and when you scan it with your phone, you can watch videos and find out information about the product. What is this thing? and what type of phones are able to scan for it? (droid, iphone, windows phone?)

Any smart phone can use it. If it the box looking matrix code you are referring to, then it is called a QR code or Quick Response Code. You can find free apps through your cell provider app marketplace or store.
