Some believe that it has something to do with the fact that Ferrari is not allow to display the Marlboro logo anymore.

It’s because they can’t show the Marlboro logo any more.

The team is sponsored by Marlboro but because they can’t show tobacco advertising in europe they can’t openly display the Marlboro logo or name so that replaces it.
