  it’s not fair…every1 needs his privacy. we all have secrets. i don’t think that u woud like him to listen your conversations. just think about that

  That’s just wrong. He’s a person too – he needs his privacy. He’s just going to get better at hiding things from you if you BETRAY him this way. You shouldn’t teach your son that this is how you treat people.

  It’s not likely you can get one. Most cordless phones either use spread spectrum or digital encyption that cannot be listened to on a scanner. It is closer to impossible to listen to a digital mobile phone.
  In addition:
  It is against the law
  The money would be better spent on parenting classes

  I too am a student and my parents are concern about my well being as you are about your child. But my parents trust me and they show me that. So because of that i am forced to avoid all bad things that the little devil in me wants to do. I really am proud that my parents trust me and try my level best to live up to their expectations.
  And just by buying a military class scanner, you are not going to become a good parent.
  I always love that fact that if there is anything troubling my parents about me, they talk to me about it.
  I sure that your son also will respect you more if you just sit with him and tell your concerns and ofcousre listen to his problems too.

  PS: I did not mean to offend you, I too have a Hyper concern parents and i just shared my personal views about the topic.
