what label maker is good to buy to make sticker barcode price labels for my clothing store?
Ive looked up Zebra LP 2824 Barcode Printer, but I was wondering how can I synchronize them with my cash register so that my register scanner can recognize them.

Is there a way to do this?

PLEASE HELP

Thanks in advance!
Im on a budget .
Im starting a small boutique.
Do I need to register these UPC somewhere? Or can i just make up my own and sell my stuff?
How does this work for business?
Im new in starting a business and I want barcode labels for my merchandise so that way it will be easier other than looking up the prices.

PLEASE HELP! ANY ONE

Any barcode printer can organise your barcodes. What you need to look at is what register you can use with them. You will need to look at mid to high range cash registers for this. Sharp XE-A450 i think are around 1500 mark or there abouts. These can store up to 30k items with extra memory. Casio TE-2400 for around 1300 can do the same.

This is all well and good in theory but you need to remeber that to enter the items in the cash register takes time. Its not like a keyboard on a computer. Its slower. On the two models i told you they have a full keyboard but on lesser ones you would pull your hair out having to press 3 buttons just for one letter.

best speak to someone about your needs..

    registersonline.com.au
    officeworld.net.au

They can provide a custom solution for you. I think that registersonline.com.au is cheap but not sure about the training. Officeworld does the whole package.

just call them because it doesn;t mater what label maker you use, its the regiseter and scanner attached that matters

IDAutomation has barcode label software as well at idautomation.com/labelsoftware/ which is pretty easy to use and customize as needed. You can print labels on any of those Avery labels sold at places like Office Depot. If you are using your own sku’s you don’t need to register your barcodes. You can use most any linear barcode type and a normal barcode scanner will be able to read them.
