What process should exactly be taken when trying to start a new business(Store)?

I need help going through the exact process of starting a new business(Store)…Can someone tell me what steps I need to take to get things up and running?
Where should I purchase my barcode and cashier register software?

I can tell you the first thing you want to do before buying anything is to make sure that you have the capitol or CASH behind you to start. Most businesses fail because of lack of funds and cash flow. Make sure you build your personal credit as well as your corporate credit separately. Get as much financing as you can before you need it. The last time to get it is when you need it. Do an acurate sales projection and basic weekly cash flow to make sure you always have the reserves you need to meet all of your expenses. Once you have this covereed then move on to what you should buy, because the financial plan and credit building will dictate waht you can afford.

    I’d start the business, win customers, sell some products see if it’s a viable venture before investing in technology before investing in tools to run the business.

    Understand the bottom line before you spend it on trying to create it?

    A price gun/labels costs less and will do the job. If the business takes off invest the profits on a barcode system when you have created the money to pay for it.

    If there has ever been a golden rule in business?……always have a customer…..that comes first!
