What would you say if the government made a law to barcode people?

What would you say if the government made a law to barcode people?
In order to keep track of the places they go and have been.
I’m not up for it since it’s an invasion of privacy and restricts freedom.
Mo: LOL oh it’s all over the internet, they know americans will reject the barcoding though….besides, I would only suggest barcoding people in a very dangerous country, such as many in the middle east.

Best answer:

LOL! Please dont give them anymore ideas!

ADD: Seriously? You made me laugh so hard when I read this that diet coke came shooting out of my nose. This is real? LOL!
I dont think this would fly in the US, but then again, had you told me a year or two ago where we would be today I wouldnt have believed that either!

Americans would form Militias and remove our or any other government that tried to enforce it. We dont have the money to bar code anyone else.

I would fight it, in every legal way possible.

You may laugh but such a thing is coming (they have invisible ink)
    I don’t put anything past our government anymore.I’m 61 and I
have seen this country going to Hell ever since President Kennedy
    was killed by Our Government.

I’m all for it! I work for a company that manufactures barcode scanners. So if they put barcodes on every citizen they would have to purchase barcode scanners to read them :-)

No – but seriously, this would never fly. People are even ticked off over the new healthcare reform since it would give the government unfettered access to your bank accounts and other personal information.

Also, barcodes would never work on people. The skin stretching and inconsistencies would make it nearly impossible to get good reads. Most likely if anything like this ever did happen they would implant an RFID chip in your body.

I was thinking the barcodes they were talking about are actually ‘chips’ that can be read by satellite. I think this is such a ridiculous idea! I just wish we had an honest government, but I don’t think we ever will.
