whats the BEST, STRONGEST and DURABLE chew toy for a Rottweiler?

my boy is 9 months old….we buy him a bone (cow bone, ankles) and boom…he chews right through them in the first day if not the first hour. and chew toy Labeled “virtuallindestructiblele” is no match for the 85lb beast….he has ropes for flossing (those strands are fun to pull out in the park….gross) and a kong that the has NO interest in unless its loaded with PB.

he has a Nylabone (sp?) right now, its as hard as a rock, and surprisingly he has only dented the thing, but he doesn’t enjoy it as much as say something he can absolutely destroy.

any ideas?

    Give him the largest raw hide bone you can buy in the pet shop also huge marrow bones from the butchers,don’t give too much bone as it causes constipation,this is a rottie thing I have a big male as well.

    Kong toys. stuffed with peanut butter. We have a doberman, and we kong toys as reward. Good luck

    My dog doesn’t like her kong either unless it’s filled with peanut butter. What a shame. Those things are pretty strong. Keep trying. Hey, at least he’s not chewing on the dry wall.

    Kong toys. I had a rottweiler at one time and I found a small tire which was a toy at pet smart. It was very durable.

    Kong toys are supposed to be durable, but my GSD never played with them. Since my dog loves to tear things apart and won’t play with the kongs, we got him a Jolly ball. We get him the biggest size (like the size horses play with) It usually last a year or two with him and he plays with it constantly, and the best thing about it, it doesn’t have an annoying squeeker. (not the kongs do either…)

    Nyla Bones are fantastic. If you want to buy him toys that he can’t destroy but will enjoy trying, go to a Pit Bull toys website. I have found several there that keep my Pit very interested and she has yet to completely destroy them.

    Nylabones and anything by JW. He will get through them eventually but they come in great shapes, are mostly vanilla flavoured, and have great squeaks! Our Dobermann is a power-chewer, and the JW toys are her favourites. She still has a ball by JW that she had as a puppy (she’s 2 now).
