When making an inventory spreadsheet, how do i make my labels stay in place?
When making an inventory spreadsheet, how do i make my labels stay in place?
Like for instance, on the left side I have S, M, L, each in their own row and cell, down the side and across the top I’ve got White, Black, Red, each in their own column and cell. I want them to stay on the screen when I move to other sizes or colors. Know what I mean?

You want to ‘Freeze Panes’. Assuming you wish to keep Row 1 visible at all times when scrolling down, select cell A2 and go to the Window menu and select ‘Freeze Panes’.
If you want to keep the first TWO rows visible, select cell A3 and Freeze Panes.
If you want to keep Column A and Row 1 visible at all times, select B2 and Freeze Panes.
If you want to keep Column A visible at all times, select B1 and Freeze Panes.
