  There are portable printers from Canon, HP, Epson, Sony, and several other makers. To get an idea of what is available, search for Canon Selphy printers. Prices range from about $80 to $200 or so for the consumer models.

  Some have battery power as well as A/C, almost all are limited to 4×6 prints, and they are dye-sub machines. This means you get a pretty darn good print, for a price. Supplies are sold as a kit, including the paper and “ink” for a certain number of prints (usually 25). There downside is speed… about a minute per print, or more!

  There are also high end models, but they start at $1,000 and go up from there.

  I have an older model HP 475, it prints 4×6 and 5×7. It has a card reader and 1 G hard drive. It reads my 1 and 2G cards but not 4,8 or 16G cards. This is typical of printer card readers.
