Where can you Find a cheap police scanner??
Well, I really want a Handheld Police Scanner but they are really Expensive so I was wondering if any ones knows where I can find a Handhel police Scanner Radio for Really cheap.Maybe something lie from -. Even if its used,old,or what ever as long as it works thats good so PLease let me know if you know of such a thing or if ur selling one!!
By The Way I live in Fulton County Atlanta,Ga Which is a Big County so It Might be Digital System the Trunking System I Think???

    Make sure you know what you want to listen to and what frequencies they use.

    Even if you buy a cheap one, you might be wasting your money if everything around you is on a digital 800 mhz trunked system (like my county) that requires a $500 scanner.

    Anyway best deals are garage sales, close-outs (Radio Shack, wal-mart), and as mentioned, eBay.

    I have many scanners most of them bought from ebay…The one that is sitting on my desk is the one that got me into scanning as a hobby the reason i have my radio operator’s or HAM licence. It a Bearcat 210xl! They go for about $15-$20 on ebay. I only use it to scan my county fire and ambulance dispatch as well as my local FD and some of the local PD in my area, It only holds 18 frequencies. But then my other scanners are a Uniden 246t and a Uniden 996t.
