Which is better: Readiris Pro 11 or Acrobat? I want more than free versions offer.?

I am willing to pay for the ability to scan in, download, etc., documents that I can then edit while keeping the format of the original document. I registered my Read I.R.I.S. software and received an offer from them to purchase the new Readiris Pro 11 at a discount for . This happened right after I had to recreate yet another document on my computer because the formatting was lost when I sent a document from MS Document Imaging to Word. My assumption is that this program and Acrobat are similar. Is that correct? This is what the ad states:

*Better reformatting of your documents into Word, Excel, PDF, etc. keeping all attributes of the original text (font, style, column, etc.)
*Better PDF generation capabilities
*Better detection of the specific information contained in your documents (text, graphics/pictures and/or tables zones)
*More output format choices and application compatibility Capital hand printed text, numbers and barcodes recognition

They are NOT in any way alike. PDF’s are Adobes idea of multiple platform universally accessible and printable documents. It will CREATE files and/or add files INTO this format of PDF.

Page IRIS I have, and it CAN export a PDF but it is really an advanced scanning routine that will allow you to automatically outline/trace a scan into a editable document/text.

Although Acrobat can do stuff like this IRIS is VERY accurate. It is about 100% perfect on ANY document in text. 100% accurate in photo placement. About 90% accurate in a mixed text/photo environment.

Try NOT to use MS Document imaging. Wouldn’t it be better to STOP the problem of data loss?
