Why are there barcodes on the side windows of vehicles from Florida?
I was traveling the interstate here in Louisiana and some vehicles passed me, 2 were from Florida, 2 were from South Dakota, but all four had barcodes on the side windows.

Its used by some sub-divisions down here for entry into the gates.
Same thing with business parking garages.

It is possible the cars are rentals.

The beach residents have them in Pensacola for the bridge tolls. They’re also used for entrance to neighborhoods and other gated facilities.
